Why we built Indemusic

We got tired of watching independent artists lose 15% of every sale to platforms that then replaced their support teams with bots.

Indemusic exists for one reason: give independent artists a direct path to their fans with no commission taken, no opaque algorithms, and no runaround when something goes wrong.

The math is simple

An artist selling $100/month on Bandcamp pays $15 in commission. On Indemusic, they pay $9 flat and keep the other $91.

Above $60/month in direct sales, Indemusic pays for itself before the month is half over.

What we believe

Indemusic is currently in early access. We're building for niche genres first: electronic, hip-hop, punk, folk, experimental, lo-fi. Artists who've always felt invisible on mainstream platforms.
